    The total is 9 (excluding the question sentence).With the question sentence it's 11-12.
    If the question sentence is solo,it's 2.

    You are correct. The question asks, " how many h's are in THIS sentence", not the previous one. There are only 2 h's in that sentence.

    If you guessed 3 h's then you are right! The questions asks "how many h's are in this sentence?", not the previous sentence.
